An outreach programme with tactile models "Touch the Kremlin" was held at the Volga Region University of Sport and Tourism. Every year on 3 December, the International Day of People with Disabilities, a decade dedicated to this day begins in Russia.

Employees of the State Historical, Architectural and Art Museum-Reserve "Kazan Kremlin" Daria Muratova and Darina Govorukhina presented to the students 3D-printed models of the Kazan Kremlin objects created for blind and visually impaired people.

The lesson was especially relevant for the children studying in the direction of "Adaptive Physical Education", because inclusive education and upbringing is the future profession of students.

The guests told about how they work with deaf and hard of hearing visitors of the Kazan Kremlin, with wheelchair users and with children with mental peculiarities.

Every year the main museum-reserve of Tatarstan becomes more and more accessible for people with disabilities. According to the staff, this year the Kazan Kremlin was visited by 4,500 guests with disabilities, which is significantly more than in previous years.

The staff of the museum-reserve is constantly working to improve communicative competence in dealing with people with disabilities, to develop infrastructure that makes visiting the Kremlin accessible to all.

Students who participated in the "Touch the Kremlin" programme learned a lot about both monuments of the world cultural heritage and modern practices in the sphere of care for people with disabilities.
