Students of the university were honoured with scholarships from the President and the Government of Russia

Students of the Volga Region State University of Physical Culture, Sports and Tourism were awarded scholarships from the President and the Government of Russia, as well as the Lev Pavlovich Matveev Memorial Scholarship. The name grants will be paid for the entire academic year.

In particular, the Presidential Scholarship was awarded to Alena Volozhanina, a student of the Department of Theory and Methodology of Martial Arts.

Fatima Bildanova, a student of the G.V. Tsyganov Chair of Theory and Methodology of Athletics and Rowing Sports, will receive the Government Scholarship.

Two more students - Regina Gazimova (Department of Theory and Methodology of Physical Culture and Sports) and Olga Sannikova (Department of Theory and Methodology of Skiing) will receive a scholarship named after L.P.Matveev. 
The children are recognised for their special achievements in the field of physical culture and sport.
