The autumn cross-country was replaced by cross-country skiing, but one thing remains unchanged - the leadership of the Volga University skiers. Recently, the ski stage of the Spartakiad of educational institutions of higher education of the Republic of Tatarstan was held at the Kazan Lokomotiv stadium.

On the first day, the girls and the guys revealed the strongest in the classic race of 3 and 5 kilometers, respectively. Egor Markov came second, losing 14.5 seconds to the winner Viktor Kutkin (representing the Kazan Law Institute). Another medal - bronze - was won by Bogdan Pavlov +23.5 seconds from the leader. Anna Koshcheeva brought the second bronze to the team. Her teammate Kristina Korobeynikova was left with a "wooden" award - fourth place.

Egor Markov became the winner in the "five" free style on the second day among the boys. Damir Abdullin stopped one step away from the award, + 7 seconds to third place. The second medal of the day was won by Anna Koshcheeva - "bronze" and +18.4 from the leader.

According to the results of two days of competition, the skiers of the Volga University of Sports became the undisputed winners of their profile stage - 2330 points. The second were the guys from Kazan Federal University - 2217 points. The top three was closed by the Kazan University of Architecture and Civil Engineering - 2187 points.
