A partnership agreement was signed between the Volga Region University of Sport and Tourism and the Humanitarian Headquarters "We are Together". The signing took place during the awarding ceremony of the Young Guard Association of the Republic of Tatarstan to the volunteers who took an active part in the work of the HQ.
Through the joint efforts of students, staff and teachers of Povolzhsky University five vehicles of humanitarian aid were sent. Basic necessities, perishable food - all this is a small contribution to a big cause for our country and those who are at the forefront of defending the borders of our state.
The agreement was signed by Lenar Galiev, Chairman of the University Students Council and Ruslan Shigabuddinov, Head of the University Humanitarian Center. According to the document, the university will continue to collect humanitarian aid for mobilised citizens of Russia and volunteer units taking part in the Special Military Operation in Ukraine. Kazan Power Engineering University, Kazan Agrarian University and the Academy of Social Education have also become partners in this good deed.
"To date, the work within the humanitarian headquarters is our priority. Today we summed up the results of the humanitarian staff's work for 2022 and rewarded the students who contributed most to collecting and sending humanitarian aid. Volunteers are a true example of kindness, humanity and selflessness. Thank you very much, may all your good deeds be surely rewarded," said Ruslan Shigabuddinov, head of the Kazan office.
