We continue the column on the eve of the 50th anniversary of the Volga Region University of Sport and Tourism - Legendary Jubilees of the university.
On January 3, Anatoly Bozin, Merited Master of Sport in Greco-Roman wrestling, a graduate of the Kama Academy of Physical Culture, Sport and Tourism (now the Volga Region University of Sport and Tourism), will celebrate his 70th birthday.
Anatoly Bozin began his sporting career in 1968 and fulfilled the norm of the USSR Sport Master already in 1975. Over the years he became champion of the All-Union Rural Games, silver medalist of the USSR Armed Forces Championship, three-time silver medalist and two-time bronze medalist of the USSR. In 1983 he became champion of the USSR.
Anatoly Bozin is twice silver medallist of the European Championships, bronze medallist of the European Championship and silver medallist of the 1977 World Universiade.
He graduated from the N.E. Bauman Kazan Academy of Veterinary Medicine in 1981 with a degree in Zootechnics. Since 1996 Anatoly has been working here as a physical education teacher. In 2009, he graduated from the Kama State Academy of Physical Culture, Sports and Tourism with a degree in Physical Training and Sports.
During his time as a coach, Anatoly trained two International Class Masters of Sport, 14 Russian Masters of Sport, over 40 Candidates to Master of Sport.
