A new ski trail was opened today in Kazan in the territory of the future Manzara Park. Rector of the Volga Region University of Physical Culture, Sports and Tourism Rafis Burganov took part in the opening ceremony.
The 6km-long track is suitable for classic and skate skiing. The route starts from the restaurant building at 1 Nizhnezarechenskaya Dam Street. There is a warm area for skiers where you can change your clothes and have a hot cup of tea. The route ends behind the Kazan Family Centre.
Skiers will be able to enjoy the area of the future park during the weekend with their own skis.
