Two students of the Volga Region University of Sport and Tourism, representing the Republic of Tatarstan at the All-Russian competitions in artistic gymnastics, took second place in the team championship.
Ivan Antonikhin and Stanislav Isayev once again brought honours to the university in a hard-fought battle for victory. Ivan took silver in the individual event on the pommel horse, and Stanislav placed sixth in the final on the vault.
The tournament took place from November 25-30 in Obninsk. More than 200 athletes from 30 towns of Russia came to compete in the Kaluga Region Governor's Cup.
