On November 16, the women's volleyball team played their first game in the Student League at the Tezuche Sports Complex. As a reminder, our girls are two-time SVL champions, and this year they will have to defend their title again.
In the first match of the tournament girls met with the team of KHTI. Already at the beginning of the first game the defending champions showed a high level of performance. Strong serve and skillful attacking ensured our volleyball players a double win in the middle of the first game. In the end of the first game our opponent made a lot of mistakes of their own, and as a result the lead grew, and the game ended with the score 25:13.
At the beginning of the second game the KHTI team managed to take the lead. Several mistakes of the Spurs team in the receiving end and competent play of the technical university volleyball players created an advantage in the beginning of the game. But then our volleyball player Elmira Mukhametdinova stepped to the plate and her serve helped the team score break points. As a result, the game ended with a score of 25:15.
The third game passed quietly. The whole third game the KHTI team continued to make a series of own mistakes in the receiving end. As a result, the third game as well as the whole match ended with the ejection of volleyball player Ksenia Sakhno. The match had already started. The next game will take place on November 28 in KAI Sports Hall. The game will start at 19:30.
