Rafis Burganov took part in the meeting of the Executive Committee of the Russian Student Sports Union in Ulyanovsk

The Rector of the Volga Region University of Physical Culture, Sports and Tourism Rafis Burganov took part in the meeting of the Executive Committee of the Russian Student Sports Union. The meeting was held the day before at the Ulyanovsk State Pedagogical University named after I.N. Ulyanov under the chairmanship of the President of the Russian Student Sports Union Sergey Seiranov.

The Minister of Sports of Russia Oleg Matytsin, the Governor of the Ulyanovsk Region Alexey Russkikh, the deputy of the State Duma of the Russian Federation, the President of the Russian Hockey Federation Vladislav Tretyak addressed the participants of the Executive Committee meeting with a welcoming speech.

The meeting was attended by rectors of sports universities, heads of student sports leagues, heads and representatives of sports clubs, heads of departments of physical education and sports, representatives of federal ministries and departments, representatives of All-Russian sports federations.

Within the framework of the meeting, the issues of the development of student sports, the holding in Ulyanovsk of the first All-Russian Forum of volunteers in the field of physical culture and sports "Academy of Volunteer Leaders" were considered. The participants discussed issues of monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of the level of development of student sports, and also talked about the tasks of the Russian Student Sports Union in the implementation of state youth policy in general.

The guests of the Ulyanovsk region took part in solemn events – the closing ceremony of the All-Russian Forum of Volunteers in the field of physical culture and sports "Academy of Volunteer Leaders", the opening ceremony of the VIII All-Russian Summer Universiade 2022.
