A real sports festival dedicated to the World Children's Football Day was held today in kindergarten No. 24 "Enyekay". Nikita Silyunus and Evgeny Danilov, 3rd year students of the Football and Hockey Department of the Volga Region University of Physical Culture, Sports and Tourism, told and showed the kids by their own example what they need to know to become a real football player.

The university students told the future athletes the history of football, about what types of football exist, and also showed how the heroes of football players with a world name look like.

The most interesting part of the meeting for children was the practical one. On the playground of the kindergarten in the fresh air Nikita and Evgeny warmed up the future athletes with a warm-up, showed the basic techniques of the game, and, of course, played football, divided into two teams. Friendship won with a score of 3/3. Future football players received balls and a charge of cheerfulness for the whole day as a gift from athletes.

According to the head of the kindergarten Aigul Mardanova, such meetings are very important in the educational process.

"The children received a tremendous charge and mood. Meetings with real athletes awaken in them and their parents an interest and love for sports. And this is a healthy lifestyle. I thank the Volga Region University for the excellent coaches. The guys, despite the fact that they are still studying at the university, already have a knowledge base and are doing "excellent" with children. They will be worthy coaches who can be happily entrusted with children from a very young age," the head emphasized.

It is worth noting that the World Children's Football Day (World Children's Football Day) appeared in 2001 on the initiative of the UN Children's Fund and the International Federation of Football Associations.

Football has been and remains the most popular sports game in the world. The secret of its popularity lies in its simplicity and versatility.  Children of all countries and peoples are happy to chase the ball around sports grounds, stadiums and courtyards, regardless of age and gender. In addition to physical endurance skills, football teaches children team spirit, coherence, friendship, develops perseverance and purposefulness, dexterity, concentration of attention.
