An educational program, case solving and an excursion to the Kazanorgsintez plant. All this was included in the media intensive program for students from Idel magazine. The participants were activists from Kazan's media centers. Among them were students of the Volga Region University of Sport and Tourism.
As part of the intensive, the activists took part in the panel discussion “Student Media as a Tool for Reporting Student Problems”. Speakers were Ramziya Galimova, editor-in-chief of Idel - Idel magazines, Zilya Gimazova, organizer of the Intensive, head of the press service of the Ministry of Youth Affairs of the Republic of Tatarstan, and Yulia Andreeva, dean of the KFU Graduate School of Journalism. Each speaker spoke about the opportunities that the republic provides for the participants of the media centers. Other speakers were Anastasia Tonkonog, editor-in-chief of Enter, and Dmitry Tomkevich, deputy director of the Kazan City Community Center. In their speeches they talked about current trends and events in youth media.
The program of the Intensive also included a master class “Public Speaking is Simple” from public speaking coach Ainur Zinnatullin. Within the framework of the program each participant could choose one of the proposed master classes: working with text, mobile photography, working with infowords and personal brand development.
The final part of the Intensive was held on the territory of Kazanorgsintez plant. The program ended with a tour of the plant and a case game “Popularization of working professions”. Students were divided into teams and for an hour created a plan to attract attention to working professions. The best team included Georgy Vorobyev, a student of the Volga Region University of Sport and Tourism. His team will have the opportunity to implement the plan and publish their work in social networks and on the pages of Idel magazine.
- Our team needed to create a plan to attract girls to work at the company. I think we managed to make the best project because we quickly distributed our responsibilities. In 30 minutes we created a large project, which was interesting to defend. In general, the program of the Intensive even exceeded expectations” - shared his impressions Georgy Vorobyev.
