Today, the Volga Region University held a general meeting for administrative and managerial staff, during which the composition of the delegation for the upcoming Conference of Employees and Students—scheduled for October 30—was approved.
Out of 289 staff members, 217 representatives from various departments and units gathered in the concert hall. The decision was reached unanimously.
The 22-member delegation will represent the interests of their respective units. At the conference, they will discuss extending the collective bargaining agreement for another three years and elect members to the Academic Council.
The meeting was chaired by Adeliya Pavlova, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs and Digital Transformation, while Dilyara Khasyanova, Head of the Organizational Work Division within the Department of Organizational and Administrative Affairs, served as the meeting secretary.
“Dear delegates, I invite you to take part in the Conference of Staff and Students of the Volga Region University on October 30 at 4:00 p.m. It will be held in room E303,” emphasized Adelia Pavlova as she concluded the meeting.
