Announcement

On 19 September at the Tennis Academy in the A10 auditorium there will be a meeting for the 1st year Bachelor students:

• groups 23411, 23412, 23415, 23416 - at 11.00 a.m.
• groups 23461, 23462 - at 13.00.

The session for the students of the 1st year of Master's degree will be held from 16 October to 4 November.

The timetable appears a few days before the session by group https://timetable.unifirst.ru/

Dormitory accommodation is available on a space-available basis. Application for accommodation should be sent to the Institute's e-mail address dekanat.z@mail.ru.

Reference-call for the session is provided if you have a certificate from your place of work.

Information about the institute

The Institute of Correspondence Education of FSBEI HE "Volga Region GUFKSiT" is a structural subdivision of the University, implementing educational programmes of higher education.

The Institute was established on 26 August 2021 by the decision of the Academic Council of FSBEI HE "Volga Region GUFKSiT" on the basis of the Faculty of Correspondence Education, founded in July 2019. Currently, the Institute is headed by Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor Oleg Borisovich Solomakhin.

• Department of Adaptive Physical Education and Life Safety.
• Department of Theory and Methodology of Physical Culture and Sport.

Students are educated by correspondence in the following Bachelor's and Master's degree programmes:

Bachelor's degree:

    49.03.01 Physical Education, profile - Physical Education

    49.03.02 Physical Education for Persons with Health Disabilities (AFC) profile - Physical Rehabilitation

Master's Degree:

49.04.01 Physical Education, focus (profile) - Management in Physical Education and Sport;
49.04.03 Sport, profile Preparation of qualified athletes in the chosen sport;
49.04.02 Physical Education for Persons with Health Disabilities (Adaptive Physical Education), orientation (profile) - Adaptive Physical Education in the system of educational organisations.

Professional training within the framework of Bachelor's degree programmes includes providing students with special knowledge in the field of physical education and sport.

Bachelor's degree programmes are aimed at mastering fundamental scientific and sports disciplines, at developing students' teamwork skills, including leadership skills, at developing the ability to set goals and find adequate and effective means of achieving them.

The distinctive feature of the educational programmes of the Institute of Distance Education is the in-depth study of knowledge in the field of physical education and sport.

After successful completion of the state final certification graduates receive a diploma of higher education.

An integral part of the educational process in all areas of training is practice, during which students acquire skills of practical work in the chosen profession, develop skills of organisational activity, master the experience of teamwork. Students of the Institute undergo practical training in: general education, sports schools, sports federations, sports committees, rehabilitation centres and others.

Places of employment. Demand for graduates of the Institute. 

Graduates of the Institute are in demand and work in all spheres of the industry as sports coaches (sports schools, sports clubs, children's and youth sports clubs, national teams); physical education teachers of secondary schools; organisers and managers in the field of physical education and sports (directors of sports schools, employees of sports committees, sports federations), etc. The Institute has close ties with employers and the business community regarding internships and internships.  

The Institute maintains close ties with employers and business community on the issues of internships and practices. Effective co-operation with sports federations, sports and secondary schools, sports committees has been established.
