Tennis Academy

The Tennis Academy is one of the largest tennis complexes in Europe, which meets the requirements of the ITF International Tennis Academy. The Academy opened in 2009, and over the years the facility has hosted many major competitions and renowned athletes. Davis Cup stages have been held here and the Kazan Kremlin Cup (ATP series), Tatarstan Open (ITF series), Russian Tennis Championship, Yeltsin Cup (junior competitions), as well as the Kazan World Grand Prix of Beach Tennis are held here every year. Such masters of sport as Marat Safin, Anastasia Myskina and Dinara Safina have competed on the Academy's courts.

In total there are 35 tennis courts on the territory of the facility: 8 indoor courts available for visiting all the year round and 27 outdoor courts with ground and hard courts. On the basis of the Tennis Academy there is a children's and youth sports school, group and individual lessons are held, and the conference hall and the foyer are used for organising meetings and events.

The Badminton Centre, Burevestnik Sports Complex, Universiade Village residential complex and the main building of the Volga Region University of Sports and Tourism are located in close proximity to the Tennis Academy.
