The winners of the contest "Best Young Scientist of the Republic of Tatarstan - 2023" were awarded in Kazan. A young scientist of the Volga Region University of Physical Culture, Sports and Tourism, postgraduate student Albina Shaimieva, was among the awardees. She was awarded a diploma for the 3rd place in the nomination "The best postgraduate student in the field of socio-humanitarian sciences".
The winners were congratulated by Deputy Chairman of the State Council Yuri Kamaltynov, Tatarstan's Minister of Youth Affairs Rinat Sadykov, rectors of the republic's universities.
"To do science is a vocation," said Yury Kamaltynov, addressing the young scientists, "but science should be done not for the sake of science, but for the sake of people, business, country. In today's time each of your success is especially significant".

The winners of the contest were announced in 7 nominations: "Best Young Scientist in Natural Sciences", "Best Young Scientist in Technical Sciences", "Best Young Scientist in Social Sciences and Humanities", "Best Postgraduate Student in Natural Sciences", "Best Postgraduate Student in Technical Sciences", "Best Postgraduate Student in Social Sciences and Humanities", "Best Young Scientist in the Production Industry".
The winners received cash prizes, commemorative diplomas and gifts.
