University Rector Rafis Burganov took part in a general meeting of the members of the Russian Academy of Education (RAO)

Rector of the Volga Region State University of Physical Culture, Sports and Tourism, corresponding member of the Russian Academy of Education, Professor Rafis Burganov took part in the general meeting of members of the Russian Academy of Education in Moscow. The event brought together more than 200 leading scientists of the country - specialists in the field of pedagogy, psychology, developmental physiology and other educational sciences.

Welcoming words were sent to the participants of the general meeting of RAO members by Assistant to the President of the Russian Federation Andrei Fursenko, Chairman of the Federation Council Committee of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation on Science, Education and Culture Liliya Gumerova, Chairman of the State Duma Committee of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation on Science and Higher Education Sergei Kabyshev, Deputy Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation Olga Petrova.The welcoming address of the President of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Gennady Krasnikov, was read by the Vice-President of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Stepan Kalmykov.

During the meeting, elections of members of the Academy were held.
