The Kazan Stars Open interregional rhythmic gymnastics competition, which brought together 11 teams of the Republic of Tatarstan, has come to an end.
The Volga Region University team won bronze medals in the competition.
- The next start for us is the championship of the Republic of Tatarstan, we have already started to prepare for it. I liked our performance, the girls are good for continuing to train, even having masters of sports. Unfortunately, student rhythmic gymnastics is not well developed, so in order not to lose form, we perform at the level of the Republic with pupils of sports schools, which training process does not stop. I, as a teacher and coach try to make sure that the girls have time to train without interrupting the educational process, because studying at university is an important stage in the life of every person, - shared Eleonora Sofyina, a teacher of the Department of Theory and Methodology of Gymnastics of Volga Region University, coach of the team.
