Yana Gershkova, a master's student at the Volga Region University, took third place in the eighth season of the All-Russian Student Olympiad "I am a professional".
Students from all 89 regions of Russia, including border territories, took part in the All-Russian Student Olympiad. Contestants were asked to test their knowledge and skills in various fields, including technical, humanitarian, natural science, pedagogical, agricultural and medical areas. Participants competed in 71 areas, and the tasks were developed jointly with the country's leading universities.
Yana Gershkova, a master's student at the Volga Region University, took third place in the "Tourism" category.
– Preparation for the competition was quite intensive. My supervisor Gulnara Murtazina and I actively worked through the case assignments presented in the demo version of the Olympiad, considering various solution options.
Also, during the preparation, we participated in various scientific conferences and forums within the scientific circle of our department. These events allowed us to collect useful data and exchange experiences. This became an invaluable contribution when solving the tasks in the final of the Olympiad.
The experience of participating in such competitions will be useful to me in the future. It allows not only to improve knowledge and skills, but also to learn how to work in a team - this is very important in the modern professional environment. I plan to participate in such competitions in the future, as I consider this an excellent opportunity for personal and professional growth,” the university master's student commented.
