At the end of the third day of the All-Russian sporting and patriotic game "New Zarnitsa" among students of universities of physical culture, the results of the competition were announced. The awards ceremony was held with the participation of Rafis Burganov, Rector of the host university - Volga Region University of Physical Culture, Sports and Tourism.
During two bright, intense competition days the participating teams fought for superiority in such programmes as "Overcoming the paramilitary obstacle course", "Victory Dictation", "Applied swimming relay race", "Sports-patriotic game "New Zarnitsa", as well as in a series of theoretical contests "History of the Armed Forces of Russia", "Review-contest of formation training and formation song", "Lasertag".
According to the results of the theoretical contest "Victory Dictation" the Volgograd State Academy of Physical Culture took the 3rd place, the National State University of Physical Culture, Sport and Health named after P.F. Lesgaft (P.F. Lesgaft) took the 2nd place. P.F. Lesgaft (St. Petersburg), and the strongest was the Volga Region State University of Physical Culture, Sports and Tourism.
The Volga Region State University of Physical Culture, Sports and Tourism took the 3rd place in the competition programme "Overcoming the paramilitary obstacle course", the Siberian State University of Physical Culture and Sports took the 2nd place, and the winning 1st place was deservedly taken by the Chaikovsky State Academy of Physical Culture and Sports.
In the programme "Applied Swimming Relay" the best team was the team of the Siberian State University of Physical Culture and Sport. 2nd place was taken by the Volga Region State University of Physical Culture, Sports and Tourism, 3rd place - National State University of Physical Culture, Sports and Health named after P.F. Lesgaft. P.F. Lesgaft.
In the sport-patriotic game "New Zarnitsa" the best results were shown by the team of the P.F. Lesgaft University of Physical Culture, Sport and Health. P.F. Lesgaft. The 2nd place was deservedly awarded to the Siberian University of Physical Culture and Sport. Tchaikovsky Academy of Physical Culture and Sports closed the top three in this nomination.
According to the results of the competition, the Volga Region State University of Physical Culture, Sports and Tourism knows the history of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation best of all. The team of the Ural State University of Physical Culture was a little behind and took second place. Among the winners in this discipline and Volgograd State Academy of Physical Culture, which took the honourable 3rd place.
In the competitive programme "Watch - contest of formation training and formation song" the Ural State University of Physical Culture took the 3rd place, the Churapchi State Institute of Physical Culture and Sports took the 2nd place. The strongest was the National University of Physical Culture, Sport and Health named after P.F. Lesgaft. P.F. Lesgaft. In the programme "Lasertag" the best was the team of the National University of Physical Culture, Sport and Health named after P.F. Lesgaft. P.F. Lesgaft National University of Physical Culture, Sport and Health, 2nd and 3rd place were shared by the Urals University and Volga University respectively.
The team of the National State University of Physical Culture, Sports and Health named after P.F. Lesgaft became the absolute winner of the All-Russian sports and patriotic game "New Zarnitsa" 2023. P.F. Lesgaft. The second place was awarded to the team of the host university - Volga Region State University of Physical Culture, Sports and Tourism. The third place of honour went to the friendly team of the Siberian State University of Physical Culture and Sport.
Rector of the Volga Region University Rafis Burganov congratulated the participants on the victory and the sports festival.
"I hope that Zarnitsa was effective for all of you and two days of very persistent competitions in seven kinds of multiathlon were not in vain. I have no doubt that all of you have added new contacts to your phones and notebooks and you have made even more friends.
We are very pleased that this type of competition has been revived in a new format. And we will be adding new types of programmes to the competition. No matter where you work, you will definitely need these skills.
I think that there are no winners in this hall today. Each of you will take away new experience and new competences," summarised the rector of Tatarstan's sports university.
