The International Scientific and Practical Conference ‘Physical Culture and Sport in the XXI Century: Current Problems and Solutions’ ended in Volgograd, where they discussed issues and prospects for the development of science in the field of physical culture and sport.
Volga Region University was represented at the conference by Dmitry Goncharenko, lecturer of the Department of Theory and Methodology of Physical Culture and Sport. In the section ‘Sport: Modern View of Problems and Prospects of Development’ he made a report on ‘Research on the Effectiveness of Physical Training Methods in Computer Sport’ and presented the results that emphasise the importance of adapting traditional methods of physical training to the conditions of modern computer sport.
"The conference brought together specialists from different fields, which facilitated the exchange of experience and ideas. Together we discussed new approaches to the development of physical culture and sports in a rapidly changing world," Dmitry Goncharenko emphasized.
