The first Open House Day of the new academic year will take place soon – you can visit the Volga Region University and learn all about admission and student life on November 2nd.
Registration begins at 9:30 AM, after which students and staff will give guests a tour and introduce them to the infrastructure of the Volga Region University – the educational and laboratory building where four thousand students study. They acquire knowledge and practical skills in the fields of sports, physical culture, adaptive physical culture, tourism, and information technology in vocational training programs, bachelor's, master's, and postgraduate programs. In addition, prospective students will get acquainted with the vibrant life of student activists – various student associations ranging from sports and creativity to media and tourism, where everyone can find something to their liking.
At 11:00 AM, the official part of the event will begin – a presentation of the university and its sports facilities will be held. After that, prospective students will be able to personally talk to the heads of the college, institutes, and departments to learn more about the academic programs and career prospects after graduation. It is worth noting that graduates of the Volga Region University become coaches, physical education teachers, specialists in adaptive physical education, as well as employees in the service and hospitality industry.
Guests of the university will also have a tour of the student dormitory in the Universiade Village. In addition, prospective students will be able to ask all their questions to representatives of the admissions committee and learn about the admission rules for the 2026/2027 academic year.
