Aliya Garipova, Associate Professor of the Department of Foreign Languages and Linguistics, took the third place in the IV All-Russian Scientific and Practical Conference “Language, Society and Information Technologies”. She took part in the section “Dialogue of Languages and Cultures in Modern Society” with her article “Dialogue of Cultures: Formation of Intercultural Communication in Lessons and Extracurricular Activities”.
The conference was held in Kazan on the basis of the Tatar-English gymnasium No. 16. The scientific event was attended by scientists, teachers, researchers and representatives of various educational organizations.
Associate Professor of the Department of Foreign Languages and Linguistics Aliya Garipova often takes part in scientific conferences and forums, writes articles in Tatar, Russian and English. According to her, she is inspired by her work with students and events held at the department. And she reflects her work experience in her articles.
As Aliya Garipova noted, the conference program was very rich. The experts discussed issues related to new trends, technologies and peculiarities of development of modern studies of language functioning on the Internet, as well as the peculiarities of formation of Russian civil identity in the conditions of polylinguality of the multinational people of Russia.
- Volga Region University is a university where representatives of different nations study. During the academic year, the university holds various sports and creative events involving children of different nationalities. The goal of the dialogue of cultures should be considered mutual enrichment, expansion of cultural and spiritual horizons, mastering universal values and acquiring emotional experience. In the future, I want to present the idea of the article in the format of a project, - noted Aliya Garipova.
As a result of the IV All-Russian Conference, a collection of the speakers' materials was published, where Aliya Garipova's article was also included.
