Students of the Volga Region University have begun studying the advanced training program "International Category Football Coach "UEFA S". The Department of Theory and Methodology of Football and Hockey received this opportunity thanks to cooperation with the Russian Football Union.
The training started on November 5. The program includes 66 hours of full-time training, after which students will receive a license for an international category coach "UEFA S". The category is the initial stage of coaching education and is aimed at training specialists working at the grassroots football level.
"For the Department of Theory and Methodology of Football and Hockey, this is an important stage in terms of student training. Fourth-year students specializing in football and master's students - graduates of our department - have applied for the course, - shared the head of the department Valery Pokaninov. - For this purpose, we sent three teachers of the department to study at the RFU. After two sessions, they received the necessary certification."
