Volga Region University won three bronze medals at the city stage of the Freshman Day 2025 festival.

The previous day, Volga Region University hosted a gala concert for the city stage of the annual student creativity festival, "Freshman's Day 2025." The University of Sports also won awards, taking bronze in the small group of universities.

Furthermore, the creative groups of the Student Cultural Center excelled. They successfully passed the auditions in mid-September and began actively preparing for the city stage. Afterward, they overcame not only the qualifying days in November but also the agonizing wait.

Members of the AlgaRitm variety dance theater took third place in the dance category – variety dance (groups). The dance group "K-CREW" won bronze in the dance category – street dance, hip-hop (groups).

Furthermore, university students participated in the vocal and media competitions, where they also demonstrated their versatile skills.
