The Volga Region University Research Institute of Physical Education and Sports, in collaboration with the university's relevant departments, developed scientific and methodological recommendations for supporting and improving training processes in 12 sports. The research was conducted based on both scientific and practical experience, as well as coaching expertise.
The recommendations take into account the specifics of the sport, the athletic qualifications, and the age characteristics of the athletes: rowers, badminton players, basketball players, belt wrestlers, volleyball players, gymnasts, track and field athletes, skiers, swimmers, tennis players, football players, and hockey players.
"The developed materials are intended for coaches, sports physicians, psychologists, and comprehensive monitoring specialists to improve the effectiveness of the training process. They will also assist in planning warm-up exercises, assessing athletes' functional fitness, and organizing recovery programs," emphasized Alexey Zverev, Director of the Research Institute and head of the study.
Anyone can access the recommendations and expand their professional knowledge on the Russian Science Citation Index's online library website.
