The Minister of Sports of Russia Mikhail Degtyarev spoke about the results of the forum ‘Russia - a sporting power’, development plans and sports education in the country in an interview to the TV channel ‘Russia 24’.

"As for personnel, we need to increase targeted recruitment. A good example of a sports university is the Volga Region University of Physical Education, Sports and Tourism in Kazan. It is a very strong university, well done! There is something to do in sports education - 14 universities under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Sports train specialists," noted Mikhail Degtyarev.
