Volga Region University organised a traditional spring "Vertical Run. Closer to the Stars", timed to coincide with the Day of Cosmonautics.
The history of the competition goes back almost ten years. This year, in addition to university staff and students, college students also climbed to the twelfth floor.
In the final rating among girls the best were college students - the fastest was Renata Rakhimova, she also set a new record for girls (1.01 min.), the second was Maria Tyurina (with a result of 1.10 min.), the third - Azalia Abdullina (1.17 min.).
Among boys Marsel Ergashev took the first place (57 sec.), the second - Larrea Jose (1.02 min.).
The winner in women's competition was Albina Fathutdinova - leading specialist of the department for social and educational work, on the second step of the podium was Chulpan Galieva - head of the SVR department.
Among male employees the best time was shown by Pavel Zheleznyak - Head of Photo Service.
