The traditional “Healthy Environment” in February became especially rich. This time the program included not only sports and educational events, but also patriotic ones.
The beginning was active - students were happy to loosen the snow with skis at the stadium of the sports complex “Burevestnik”, energized for the whole day by the support of fans. The ski races were counting for the fulfillment of the standard of the GTO complex.
At the same time in the Rowing Sports Center there was a sports and paramilitary event dedicated to the Defender of the Fatherland Day. The teaching staff competed first in disassembly-assembly of the Kalashnikov assault rifle, and then tested their marksmanship in shooting from Makarov pistol and AK-47 at targets in the electronic laser range.
After the physical exercise smoothly passed to a series of educational programs: with lectures on career development for professional self-determination were made by representatives of the free economic zone “Alabuga”, the organization “Akvapark. Suvar. Lifehacks”, Interregional Clinical and Diagnostic Center and fitness clubs ‘Algorithm’ and ‘Bright Fit’.
Students learned more about how to choose the right profession and pave the way to career self-realization, as well as - how to build their coaching and entrepreneurial activities in the field of physical education.
Lenar Galiev, Chairman of the Student Council, made a presentation on the results of the Republican Award “Student of the Year” within the framework of the “School of Mentors”. He thanked the mentors for supporting students in self-realization: sports, creative and scientific development.
The program continued with a meeting with Major General, veteran of the Afghan war Rim Mustaev, during which the guys discussed the development of patriotic movement. In addition, the guest, a graduate of the National University of Physical Culture, Sports and Health named after Lesgaft, recalled his student years, as well as told about his personal war memories.
The “Healthy Environment” ended with sports orienteering competitions in the training and laboratory building and the championship of the Student Basketball League of the Republic of Tatarstan in basketball.
