Foreign students of the Volga Region University visited the National Library of the Republic of Tatarstan.

The architecture of the building, the view of Kazanka, a huge selection of books, a music class, theatrical performances and a cozy cafe - all this impressed the guests of the Republic.

“It's always nice to see your native in a foreign land,” said Alsu Galimzyanova, a leading specialist in the international cooperation department. — It was important for the guys to see the books in their native languages: Arabic, Spanish and Farsi. A pleasant surprise was the meeting with other foreigners within the walls of the library - our students talked with Indians, Iranians and Colombians. The guys were convinced that this library is truly multinational, comfortable and hospitable. Even before they had finished their first visit, they had already started planning a second visit and had even issued library cards.”
