On the first day, the guests had an absolute advantage in all the attempts of the "academicians" to turn the tide of the game. A large number of own errors of the owners of the site allowed Dynamo to consistently score points and win three games in a row. And if in the second set "Academy-Kazan" still managed to bring the game to a tie-break (26:28), then the first and third games were outstanding - 20:25, 18:25.
The second meeting proceeded according to a different schedule - the “academicians”, as they say, “showed their teeth”. In the first and third games, Maksimov's wards left practically no chance for the guests to succeed - 25:19 and 25:17. In the second - the Chelyabinsk volleyball players still managed to impose some kind of struggle, and won with a score of 22:25. They played with the same passion in the fourth set, but in the end, Akademiya-Kazan managed to hold out and bring the game to a winning 25:22.
According to the head coach of "Academy-Kazan" Maxim Maksimov, there were too many own mistakes in the first match. “There were a lot of them. But we must pay tribute to Chelyabinsk - they were flawless on the pitch, practically did not make mistakes, - Maxim Maksimova noted. - In the second meeting, we made changes. Our serve was more aggressive, we served a lot of “glider” and this gave more effect than the power serve the day before.”
