The new formats of holding international sports events were discussed today, on 13 February, by the representatives of all-Russian sports federations, relevant ministries and higher educational institutions in Moscow during the seminar-meeting.
The seminar was presided over by Nadezhda Yerastova, the President of the All-Russian Dance and Acrobatic Rock-and-Roll Federation, and Irina Viner-Usmanova, the Chairman of the Russian Federation Public Chamber Commission for Physical Culture and Promotion of Healthy Lifestyle.
Rafis Burganov, Rector of the Volga Region University of Physical Culture, Sports and Tourism, Azat Sharapov, First Vice-rector of the university, and Andrey Nazarenko, Vice-rector for Research and International activities took part in the seminar.
The seminar focused on how to organise and conduct international sporting events in the modern world. The questions of attracting foreign students studying in the Russian Federation to take part in competitions were also discussed during the meeting.
The event was organized by the Commission for Physical Culture and Promotion of Healthy Lifestyle of the Public Chamber of the Russian Federation, All-Russian Federation of Dance and Acrobatic Rock'n'Roll, Council for Healthy Lifestyle of the Russian-Chinese Friendship, Peace and Development Committee.
