University skiers on the podium of the main All-Russian race

The XXXXI Russian Cross-Country Skiing Race "Ski Track of Russia-2023" took place on February 11 all over the country. In Kazan the competition was held at five venues.

In the traditional all-Russian start, 15 skiers of Volga Region University, headed by Ilya Filippov, a coach from the Department of Skiing Theory and Methodology, started at the Mirny Cross-Country Skiing and Biathlon Complex.

The 10km cross-country skiing race put two female athletes of the sports university on the podium. Anna Koshcheyeva, a 3rd year student, won the silver medal, while sophomore Daria Korobeinikova took the bronze medal.

Traditionally, each participant received a symbol of the annual start - a "Ski Track of Russia" cap.
