Students of the Volga Region University of Sports and Tourism became winners and prize-winners of the World Belt Wrestling Cup in Ufa within the framework of the 17th International Martial Arts Forum. Timur Latipov won gold in the weight category up to 81 kg. "Silver" from a graduate student Maria Sedunova University, and Dilara Latypova lost in the semifinals and became the bronze medalist of the competition.
A total of 218 athletes from 26 countries took part in the competition, including Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, Afghanistan and others.
