On the Day of Knowledge, Rafis Burganov answered the questions of students of the Volga Region University of Sports

Due to circumstances, the Volga Region University of Sports held the Day of Knowledge-2021 without any special celebrations in a working environment. In early September, the university became a home for athletes who came to Kazan for the Games of the CIS countries, takes an active part in the forum "Russia –a sports power". Therefore, the face-to-face meeting of teachers and students had to be postponed until September 20. Along with the study, a small festive program was transferred to the online format, which included a "live broadcast" with the participation of Acting rector of the Volga Region University of Sports Rafis Burganov. The offer to communicate in an informal atmosphere aroused great interest among students, a lot of questions were asked. Rafis Timerkhanovich answered the most interesting questions.

The students readily accepted the format of communication, which excluded questions on technical or everyday topics. Following the meeting, Rafis Timerkhanovich was happy to note that the issues turned out to be quite difficult and deep…  What is the strength of the Volga Region University? What is the brightest success story of a university graduate? What is the role and significance of a mentor in a person's life?.. And of course, on this day, the rector's fatherly advice to university students was broadcast live. And, in particular, to first-year students:  

- Being a student is a time when you can do everything you want, you can study, try, make mistakes, test yourself in different types of activities. The main thing is not to regret after graduation that you did not use all the opportunities that the University provides!

And the participants of the meeting also learned about how Rafis Burganov treats women's football, what kind of sport he is engaged in, what place, in his opinion, the Volga Academy occupies in the ranking of sports, and not only, universities…

And of course, Rafis Timerkhanovich, before concluding the meeting, promised the students that in the future he would definitely find time for such meetings in his schedule. But already in an offline format.
