On July 21, two lectures on sports psychology will be held at the Volga State University of Physical Culture, Sports and Tourism. They are intended for children's coaches and parents of young athletes and are dedicated to investing in children and preserving their health.

Practicing sports psychologists Zukhra Usmanova (Russia, Kazan) and Mikhail Botting (Scotland) will tell about how not to overdo it in education and raise a successful child, how to build a favorable motivational principle in a sports team.

The lecture of PhD, associate professor of the Volga State University of Physical Culture, Sports and Tourism Zukhra Usmanova will be held at 10.00. The chief sports psychologist of the Scottish Institute of Sports (Sportscotland) Mikhail Botting will give his lecture at 11.45. These meetings were made possible thanks to the partnership of the Volga Region University with the Association of Sports Psychologists of Russia, which brought together psychology specialists in the field of sports around the world. This year, the Volga Region University for the first time announced the recruitment of a master's degree in the direction of "sports psychology". The first successful joint project with a representative of the Association of Sports Psychologists was the work of Valeria Sokhlikova in Kazan at the Russian Swimming Championship, with a series of lectures on the development of stress resistance of athletes together with the Russian Swimming Federation.
