The time for entrance exams has come at the Volga Region University of Sports and Tourism. The first exam – biology-was held today. On the eve of the applicants gathered for a consultation to learn firsthand all the subtleties of a complex theoretical test.

"A lot of people came to the consultation as never before," Elmira Shamilyevna comments. - Anticipating the applicants ' question "about the sore point", I immediately warned that the exam would also include problems in genetics, these are the requirements of the time. I am glad that applicants think not only about the content, but also about the form, there was a question about the dress code at the exam. I recommend that everyone come in a good mood, be tuned in to this important event in life, but treat it as a necessity that needs to be passed. Today, both yesterday's schoolchildren and their teachers are reaping the benefits of the sudden transition to distance learning associated with the pandemic. For many participants in the process, this was the first experience, which now, alas, "goes sideways"to the incoming". As practice has shown, even the cherished minimum 36 points for the Unified State Exam in biology are not "in the teeth"for all applicants. And this means that the path to a sports university is closed to them.
Secretary of the admission Committee of the Volga Region University Danir Islyamov said that today the university has completed the acceptance of documents in seven areas: sports, recreation and sports and health tourism (full-time), physical culture and adaptive physical culture (full-time/part-time), service, tourism and hotel business for applicants after receiving secondary vocational education.
"The competition for budget places in the direction of "sport" is held for the first time this year in separate sports, there are 20 of them in total, before it was one competitive group, " explains Islyamov. - The reception of documents continues. On July 23, the acceptance of applications for budget places in the master's program of the university will be completed, on July 29-in the bachelor's degree in the areas of service, tourism and hotel business for applicants with the results of the Unified State Exam. We will finish accepting extra-budgetary places on August 10."
All additional entrance tests this year are organized directly at the university. On July 23, the decisive tests on the general physical training of applicants will be held at the sports facilities of the Volga Region University. But for submitting applications online, the university, in addition to its own information platform, which proved itself well during last year's admission campaign, also uses the all-Russian system of the Unified Portal of Public Services. "This super service is linked to the personal account of the applicant in the Russian public services system," says Danir Islyamov. – It allows applicants to apply to any university in the country."
