It is no secret for students and teachers of the Volga region Academy that in 2020 the Tatar Autonomous Soviet socialist Republic (TASSR) celebrates its 100th anniversary, and 2021 has been declared the Year of native languages and national unity in the Republic. So the faculty of service and tourism of the Volga region Academy decided to dedicate its professional holiday – tourism Day to Tatarstan.
"We always work with our students in a creative manner," says the Dean of the faculty of service and tourism, RESEDA Khadiullina. – We want the students of the Academy, gathered from different parts of our vast country, to learn the history of the Republic, where they came to study, imbued with traditions and understand how important and necessary it is to be tolerant of all nationalities living peacefully in Tatarstan."
The topics that 6 groups of first-and second-year students of the faculty drew by lot for their performance will help them present to the audience the history of the Khazar Khaganate, Volga Bulgaria, the Golden Horde, the Kazan khanate, the TASSR and the Republic of Tatarstan in our days.
Five-minute excursions will help participants tell about distant times and destinies, and the audience will learn a lot of new and unknown details to get acquainted with the culture of the Tatar people.
Live broadcast of the day of tourism on instagram @fsit_sportacadem will help you not to miss the details, and most importantly, vote for your favorite numbers. Popular opinion will determine the winning groups that will receive valuable gifts and prizes. Unfortunately, due to the epidemiological situation, the traditional invitation of guests and senior students to the holiday became impossible, but the organizers kept the culinary competition in the program. So participants and their classmates will be able to enjoy national dishes for sure. The main thing is to observe all restrictive measures!
The event will be held on November 11 at the site in the academic building of the Academy. Well, the video of the winners and prize-winners will be seen not only by students, but also by applicants of the faculty, who will also be able to participate in the voting.
