Basketball players of the national team "Academy of sports" continue to fight for awards of the student League of Russian Railways among women's teams.
At the beginning of November, students of the Volga region Academy hosted guests at their home ground. Then we managed to win only in the match against USUE-sinh (81: 60). In the other two, unfortunately, we lost-we played 68:77 against Gvardiya-TIU, 55:70 against URFU SIMA-LAND.
A week later, on November 7, the wards of coach Natalia Kuleshova went on an away tour to Izhevsk. In the first match, the "Academy of sports" won over the Perm team "Academy" with a score of 97:58 (20:10, 18:17, 33:16, 26:15). The next day the basketball players of the Volga region Academy of sports lost to the owners of the site from UdSU by only four points 69:65 (17:17, 16:12, 10:21, 24:15).
"I am not very happy with the game in the home round, because the tasks were set quite differently. The girls probably tried very hard and emotionally overloaded themselves. Fail. We didn't have enough confidence and calmness, "said Natalia Kuleshova, head coach of the Academy of sports team. - We played well in Izhevsk. While our game is built on defense, there is a change of generations, there are a lot of freshmen in the team. The goal is to give them as much game practice as possible to make them feel more confident. The Russian Railways Student League tournament is one of the stages of preparation for the Belov League games."
