25 students and four teachers were delegated by the Volga region Academy of sports as judges to the all-Russian competitions in track and field athletics "Shipovka young", which started in Kazan in the track and field arena. More than 1,300 young athletes from 65 cities of Russia took part in the competition.
At the opening ceremony of the tournament, certificates of judges in athletics of the all-Russian category were awarded to teachers of the Department of cyclic sports Sergey Borovik and Rinat Valiullin, as well as to the head of the Department Sergey Pavlov. The event is important for the Academy. The presence of judges of the relevant category allows you to not only hold competitions on national and international levels, and assign their results sports titles. Thus, as Sergey Pavlov noted, now even at the intra-University competitions, students-athletes, having fulfilled the necessary standard, will be able to apply for the assignment of titles.
