The football team of the Volga region Academy of sports resumed performances in The national student football League, having held three matches of the spring part of the championship in Yevpatoria at the "Crimea Arena".  "Academicians" did not lose even once, but lost precious points, in two meetings having played a draw.
In the first match of the tour to Kazan students played out a draw with the hosts, the team of KFU. Although the effective draw 2: 2 "peaceful" can not be called. "Academics" has opened the scoring in the 28th minute after a solo passage Azat Shamsutdinova. In the 36th minute, Danil Kostylev doubled the advantage of our team, closing the transfer of Wildan Ermilov from the penalty area. Alas, after the break, conceding an optional goal, allowed the hosts to seize the initiative, clung to the gate and, left in the minority because of the removal, missed again.
And in the second meeting with the don technical University the same story was repeated. In the second half Adel Nateev brought "academics" forward, but to keep the winning score failed. DSTU students escaped defeat 12 minutes before the end of the match.
And only today, in the final match, the team of the Volga region Academy managed to win the first spring victory. Moreover, strong-willed. Yielding to the team of Kabardino-Balkar state University with the score 0: 1, "academicians" by the efforts of Danil Kostylev and Vladislav Kudryashov, earned three points. In the standings, our team takes third place with 18 points.  
The following matches of "Academica" will be held in mid-may. On may 17, they will play with the team of the southern Federal University (Rostov-on-don), the potential leader of the championship. Rostovites have two games less and 18 points. So, the match is fundamental, there is a chance to take away points from a competitor. On may 18, the opponent of our team will be the outsider - PRUE team (14th place). On 19 may, the meeting with the "average" - TSU (Tambov).
