The student of the Volga region Academy Alexander Chicherov as a part of the national team of Russia on gymnastics became the winner of the challenge Cup which took place in Germany. According to the official website of the gymnastics Federation of Russia, the result of the winners in the amount of exercises — 170,995 points. The second place was taken by representatives of Germany (168,162 points), the third were gymnasts from Japan (168,065). Together with Chicherov, the winners of the tournament were Dmitry Lankin, Ivan Stretovich, Nikita Ignatiev, Ilya Kibartas. Chicherov in this competition performed on three apparatus: pommel horse, parallel bars and horizontal bar.
