The women's team of the Volga region Academy of sports became the silver prize-winner of the international student basketball tournament 3X3.
The tournament was held as part of a large-scale festival of student sports in Eilat (Israel). The winners were students of tel Aviv University, the third place was taken by the team from Iran. In the team of the "Academy of sport", which is headed by Natalia Kuleshov, silver medalists were Olesya Nikolenko, Taisia Afanasieva, Ekaterina Headquarters and Karina Peremenin.
In the men's part of the tournament Russia was represented by NSTU. R. E. Alekseeva from Nizhny Novgorod, who took the final fifth place.
