Rivals fighters Academy teams became ten higher education institutions of Kazan. The program of competitions included competitions of men in free and classical styles (in 7 weight categories) and women (in 5 weight categories). 19 athletes took part in the tournament as part of the Academy team.
As a result, "academicians" had 12 gold medals, 3 silver and 3 bronze medals at the end of the tournament. Champions of the Spartakiad RT were students of Volga Academy: Timur Latipov, Samvel Mkhitaryan, Rail Kamalov, Tossed Muhamadsobirov, Ruslan Ziatdinov, Rail Sagirov, Alexey Abramov, Ilnar Zakirov, Radik Gafurov, Regina Nurutdinova, Angelina Vorobyeva and Dilyara Latypova.
