Student of the Volga region Academy, skier Christina Matsokina on the seventh day of the competition won a gold medal in the mixed team sprint classic style. Two Russian teams took part in the race. Christina ran for the first team together with Alexander Terentyev at the final stage of the race, to which both Russian teams took the lead. Matsokina confidently bypassed his rival-compatriot Pauline Nekrasov and issued the "Golden" finish of the first team with the result of 22.11, 27 C margin of 10.65 seconds. Silver prize-winners of competitions Andrey Abakarov and Polina Nekrasova. The bronze went to the Finnish athletes.
