Bronze medalists of the all-Russian badminton competition "Spring shuttlecock", held from March 1 to 3 in Orekhovo-Zuyevo, were students of the Volga region Academy, speaking at the tournament as part of the national team of Tatarstan.
"Spring shuttlecock" is a stage of the Cup of Russia, the final, which will be held in may at one of the objects of the Volga region Academy - in the center of badminton.  Tatarstan national team, headed by a teacher of the Department of theory and methodology of tennis and badminton Igor Nazarov, is fully staffed by students of the University. In Orekhovo-Zuyevo bronze medals and rating points were won by Alexander Vasilkin with Amir Khamidulin and Alina Romanko with Maria Malygina.
