The Volga region Academy of sports hosted a meeting of students-natives of the highland municipal district of Tatarstan with the administration of the University and the district.
Rector of the Academy Yusup Yakubov presented the head of the district Rustam Kalimullin, who personally came to see his countrymen-the future human resources in the field of sports and tourism. Together with the head of district attended the meeting head of the Department of youth Affairs and sports Nafisa Minnebaev and the Director of DYUSSH "Biektau" Andrian cabin. 24 students of the Academy had an hour and a half to prove themselves and on the advice of the rector to establish relations with potential employers.
A student of the faculty of service and tourism Dilyafruz Garifullina told about her thesis on the creation of an ethnic Park in the territory of the highland district and asked the head of the district if he had any interest in the implementation of her project.  "Of course! Therefore, we are here, " Rustam Kalimullin hastened to answer. - Before the meeting with you, we walked around the academic building and were impressed by the capabilities of the Academy in General, and its scientific laboratories in particular. There is no doubt that high-class specialists, whom we lack, come out of these walls." In the sports topic, students showed interest in the development of new disciplines for the highlands region, such as kettlebell lifting. Rustam Kalimullin considers these proposals with enthusiasm, but notes that the main thing in any sport is a coach who will be able to grow future Champions. "I am glad that the Academy keeps in touch with the districts, - shared at the end of the meeting a student of the faculty of service and tourism, a native of the highlands district Adelya Saitova. - In relation it is visible that representatives of the area are interested in us as future qualified specialists. No wonder they say " where was born-there and useful!".
