January 26 at 13 o'clock in the educational and laboratory building of the Volga Academy of sports and tourism again waiting for potential students. In the new year, the open Day of the University will be held in a new format. In a short time, students and their parents will be able to get acquainted with the infrastructure of the University, meet with the deans of the three faculties of the Academy and heads of specialized departments. An excursion to the Universiade Village, where nonresident students of the Academy live, is planned for the participants of the open Day.
Registration of participants of the open Day will be held in the lobby of the main entrance to the educational building. At 13 o'clock in the concert hall of the Volga Academy with potential applicants, parents, coaches and representatives of sports federations and clubs will meet the rector of the Academy Yusup Yakubov, and the Executive Secretary of the selection Committee of the University Ravil Nabiullin will talk about the rules of admission in 2019. All the details of admission to specific profiles and areas of study can be discussed at a subsequent meeting with representatives of the faculties.
As a nice bonus, all present and future students will be able to visit the festival "Academy Fitness"on this day. The initiator of the project is the head of the sports sector of the student Council of the faculty of sports Alexander Kryukov. The festival starts at 13.30 in the gym of the educational building (on the 3rd floor). Participants will be offered a fitness session of Zumba and power yoga. In parallel with the classes, the participants will see live performances of musicians and contests with prizes. So now at the open day will be useful not only the head, but also sportswear!
