On December 20, the Volga region Academy of sports will sum up the results of the University in 2018.  The festive ceremony of awarding the winners of corporate awards among students, teachers and employees, as well as a number of sports nominations will be held in the concert hall. Thousands of staff of the institution and its facilities will name those whose contribution to the development of the University in 2018 was particularly noticeable.
As part of the award "Sports results of the year" among the winners of international competitions will be named athletes of the year, representing the University and the Russian team. The decision of the competition Committee will determine the coaches of the year in individual and team sports, as well as the student team of the year. It is necessary to identify the sports facility of the year and the sports event that aroused the greatest interest in the Academy.
Lists of nominees are formed by the Council of the faculty of sports with the participation of the Office of sports work and sports club of the Academy. To enter the shortlist of the award, it is necessary to meet the criteria, including not only sports achievements, but also the lack of academic debt, as well as its activity in promoting a healthy lifestyle and belonging to the Academy.
The hard work is also to be done by the contest Committee, which assesses student achievements for the year in the framework of 10 nominations of the award " Learn to win!". Acceptance of applications has already been completed. December 10 will be known the names of students who have passed the full-time stage. On December 11 and 12 in the coworking area everyone will be able to be present together with the jury at the sites of face-to-face presentations. In addition, this year, all applicants for the victory will have to write a written task, which consists of questions about the Academy. The jury will include the heads of structural units on the profiles of students, as well as deans, heads of departments and teachers. They will also determine the new Grand Prix winner, who will traditionally receive a branded jacket with the symbols of the Academy from the hands of the rector. 
12 employees of the year will be determined this year under the new scheme. Each structural unit of the University will nominate a candidate who needs to fill out a questionnaire. 19 members of the competition Commission will fill in the evaluation sheets and determine the top 10 employees this year. The criteria by which the contribution of each nominee to the overall success of the Academy will be assessed include: the presence of initiatives, the use of best practices, diligence, loyalty to colleagues and corporate values. The winners will be determined by the amount of points.
The best representatives of the teaching staff will be determined by the traditional annual rating.
