Student of the 4th course of the faculty of sport of Povolzhskaya Academy of Gelyusa Galieva won the silver medal at the student world championship Boxing, culminating today in Elista. Our athlete, performing in the weight category up to 51 kilograms, lost in the final match of the Frenchwoman of Vassilla Lhadiri. On the way to the final Gelyusa overcame Czech Petra Lashtovkova, and in the semi-final was won on points by unanimous decision at Chin Chii-Huey from Taipei.
