At the meeting of The academic Council of the Volga Academy of sports and tourism it became known about the change of leadership in the University center of additional education, which since its inception in 2012 was headed by a graduate of the Academy, KB.N., associate Professor Tatyana Kirillova. Its in the post of Director was replaced by the doctor of biological Sciences Elvira Rumyantseva. 
Seeing Tatiyana Georgievna warm words, rector of the Academy Yusup Yakubov expressed confidence that the completion of the Academy for Kirillova will not be a point in relations with the University. Rector highly appreciated her contribution to the development of additional professional education in the Volga region Academy and handed her a letter of thanks with a wish of success in their own business.
Elvira Rumyantseva, invited to Kazan from the post of Deputy Director for research and innovation of the Bashkir Institute of physical education, became the new head of the center of additional education of the University. In the scientific field, Elvira Rimovna's interests lie in the field of sports physiology. She is the author of 130 scientific works with her participation developed recommendations for the preservation of women's health in the sport of high achievements, sports training of athletes with disabilities. The research results are used in national teams, as well as in the preparation of athletes with disabilities.
"Solid theoretical and practical Foundation laid by your predecessor, should help you to strengthen the position of the center in the market of additional professional education, - told Yusup Yakubov, referring to the newly appointed head.  "The scope of work is incredibly wide, because only Tatarstan employs more than 9 thousand specialists in the field of physical culture and sports, and we work for the whole of Russia."
